JDI is proud to partner with a diverse network of advocacy organizations here in Massachusetts and across the country to share resources and collaborate toward our common goals.\u00a0 The Coalition also works closely with state offices including the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, Massachusetts Department of Children & Families, Massachusetts Office of the Attorney General, Massachusetts Office of the State Treasurer and others. JDI staff also serve on a variety of government commissions and task forces including the Governor’s Council to Address Sexual and Domestic Violence, SANE (Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner) Advisory Board,\u00a0 and more on behalf of our member organizations and survivors everywhere.<\/p>\n

Listen to a few of our partners share what it means to be connected to JDI.\u00a0 Sue Finegan is a nationally recognized lawyer who heads up the pro-bono legal practice at Mintz.\u00a0 Stephanie Lee served on JDI’s board for many years and is currently the Development Committee Chair; over the years she facilitated the Coalition’s partnership with several corporate partners. Peter Roby is the former Director of Athletics and Recreation at Northeastern University and embodies the values of a White Ribbon Day Ambassador. Deb Collins-Gousby and Paulo Pinto bring a perspective from two JDI member programs and as board members.

We’re delighted to introduce you to one of our key national partners, the National Alliance to End Sexual Violence.<\/p>\n

As the preeminent advocacy organization addressing these issues on the federal level, NAESV helps JDI and others stay current on policy issues and other developments that will impact survivors as well as organizations.<\/p>\n

In the summer of 2019, JDI’s Executive Director Debra Robbin was appointed the NAESV Board of Directors.<\/p>\n
